Happy 1 week old Landon!

Tony and I can't believe that it has been 1 week since our little boy arrived. Sometimes it feels like a year has gone by. Our lives have been changed, drastically for the good.
We were discharged from the hospital on Saturday and really wanted to go home to crash. However, our AC was broken and our house was 90 deg by 5pm. So we headed over to Little America hotel where Tony's parents were staying. I kind of felt bad taking my little 3 day old baby to a hotel, but it was better than roasting in our house.

Dressed and ready to leave!
Got to love those chicken legs :)
My mom and Caleb had a short layover on their way back from Spain and got to come with us for some quick but quality cuddles.

Pretty much the rest of the week was just the 3 of us. Tony had to go back to work on Tuesday - which he tries not to be late to, but the cutest little baby boy keeps him here in the morning til the last minute :)
As for mom - well I have had some trouble adjusting to sharing my days with my little angel...

1. New sleep schedule. Little Landon is a pretty good sleeper on most nights. However, sometimes it feels like he is waking up every hour. I am a really light sleeper now...so I hear his every movement in the cradle next to our bed. Tony, on the other hand, only wakes up when an earthquake hits :)
2. Day-time plans. This is probably the hardest change I have ever felt. Not getting up to go to work at the hospital has really thrown off my groove. I kind of don't know what to do with myself. I absolutely love to cuddle my little boy all day, but I feel so "blah" cause there isn't anything to force me to get dressed, do my hair and leave the house.
3. Planning trips to the store. Wow! It is quite the ordeal to make sure Landon is fed, changed and diaper bag packed everytime I plan to leave the house. Then once we are out in the car, if he starts to get really fussy, I end up turning around and heading home anyway.

At the end of the day, I am very grateful that my little Landon is here and that he is healthy, beautiful, and most importantly mine :)

Erin, I love the description of getting ready to go to the store. So so true. Also how you have no desire to get ready for the day! Landon is adoralbe!
