Shaolin Tournament March 2008

We just had the semi-annual United Studios of Self Defense Utah Tournament on March 29th. This involved 13 studios and over 375 participants. It was a big success. Tony, of course, was judging different events and I was the 1st responder (First Aid) for anyone with a cut or bloody nose. No serious injuries but still better to be prepared. Tony competed in Forms and Sparring. He placed 2nd with his form 'Circle of the Tiger' against all the other cheif instructors!! I competed in the weapons division with a basic bo staff form and took 1st place! I also performed Kata 4 in the forms division and placed 3rd. What was really neat was that the Bountiful Studio (Tony's studio) where I study, swept the Brown belt division. We were really proud!
