Landon also figured out the whole crawling thing during May. Started with the inchworm and moved on to the army crawl. He is a PRO army crawler but will get up on his hands and knees if he has to when he is outside. :) But evidently the crawling thing was short-lived because now he HAS to cruise around the whole house, holding on to everything in order to walk :)
Linz, Matty and Avery Parker spent some time in Utah with us. Landon and his cousin were so cute together!
And we can't forget about the teething. Landon decided to move through this stage in 2 weeks time. Over the last 2 weeks he has had 4 teeth (2 top and 2 bottom) break through. Despite the grumpiness and random crying at night, it hasn't been too bad. Cold pickles have been a great teething option and he loves them! Unfortunately he wont let us touch them or open his mouth to see them very often. But if I am ignoring him and he wants my attention, he definitely lets my leg feel all 4 of those sharp little buggers!
Summer finally decided to grace us with her presence towards the end of the month and we found plenty of time to play when Landon and I started going to the waterpark in the evening. He loves the Tidal Beach and being able to splash and crawl around in the shallow water. He's also learning to like popsicles. Although it never gets old to watch his face when he 1st sticks the cold treat into his mouth :)
Evenings that we are not playing in the water we are bike riding. Lots of preparing for my Rockwell Relay Ladies' Pamperfest that happened on July 9th. It was a blast. Our 4 person team, Sara, Jen, Shirley and myself (LVAD and heart transplant coordinators) made the team Pump 'U' Up! In relay style we rode from Snowbasin (backside of Mt. Ogden) to Provo. I got to experience the exhileration of going 42 mph on a roady. What a feeling!! Better than a rollercoaster.
My awesome daddy and flew Tony, Landon and I up to Washington for the 4th of July holiday. Kyle, Erin Lynn, Charlie, Linz, Matty and Avery Parker were all there too. It was so much fun. We played in the pool, went on a hike and just hung out. Enough time to enjoy eachother, but not too much time that we annoyed eachother. :) I'm pretty sure it was all for the benefit of the grandparents, but we'll take the spoiling anyway we can get it!
