Learning Patience.....

Well, I have heard that all new moms must learn patience. This little baby is definitely teaching Tony and I patience. We went in around 1030pm last night. Contractions were coming pretty good at 5-10 min apart. I wasn't feeling as "leaky" as earlier, but we were still instructed to come in and get checked out. Come to find out, you can have a "high" break in the water that can seal itself off. Or I just need to invest in adult diapers and deal with incontinence. :) The baby looked great on the fetal monitor even through the stronger contractions, but they didn't seem to be doing much in prepping his way out. Needless to say, they sent us home around midnight. Slightly bummed, Tony and I went out for Sonic shakes and then came home to rest. Uneventful night. Simple contractions that didn't "go" anywhere. And we are still waiting to snuggle a little boy.

Good news - he is still really active and so low now I can see my rib cage for the 1st time in 9 months :)

that's what happened to me! the "high" break thing. I know my water broke b/c I've experienced it before, but then when we went it, they said no.
I hope he comes soon and i hope in the meantime you get some good rest and relaxation. you'll do AWESOME!
